Habitat For Tenacity (March 2008)

3/5/08: Those who've been following the saga of our remodeling project might recall that we'd nicknamed it "Habitat For Insanity". Well, we decided that moniker might have been a magnet for trouble! So we've given it a new name, more truly expressive of what it has become. Despite continuing challenges, the project is moving forward and gaining momentum... we believe THIS will be the month in which we can move in and begin living in our new home. Better late than never!! The feature photo for this gallery (left) shows the roof (FINALLY) nearing conclusion -- it should be done by week's end. This will mark the end of a very long, frustrating, and costly ordeal (the originally-installed roof, which was never completed, was done incorrectly, leaked in the first heavy rain, and had to be stripped off the house and replaced (OUCH!!)!!
